Vietnemese _used_ to hate the US

During the Vietnam War, millions of gallons of Agent Orange were sprayed across regions of the country to destroy forest cover. This articles shows the result. It saddens me to see people in pain, people suffering. I feel for them.

I think those responsible should take responsibility for what happened, however I do not condone the hate that has been created against the US because of their involvement. They used the chemical to fight a war, without the intention of killing innocent people, and now they have to live with knowing the result.

Imagine if you mutilated someone by accident, really imagine how you would feel. Do you really have to create so much hate?

I am not a US citizen, I have no ties to the US, and I would make these same statements if it was any other country in the same position. A horrific thing has happened, a horrific result from a lack of knowledge.

Please stop using these Vietnamese people as reason to hate.
How much more powerful could we be if we came together in love for the victims.
